About
Gerard Kell is the founder and principal solicitor of Gerard Kell & Co.
He is admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Gerard is on Legal Aid Panels for family law, summary criminal law and civil law matters.
Gerard has worked in the community legal sector as well as in private practice where he gained a broad range of general legal experience including migration (partner, humanitarian, student, skill based and business visas, work rights, visa refusal and appeals); commercial (retail leases, sale of business and debt recovery); criminal & traffic; conveyancing; family law (parenting, property and spousal maintenance); wills and estates, probate and letters of administration; discrimination, disability and HIV/AIDS related matters.
Gerard has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of New England, a Graduate Diploma of Migration Law and Practice and Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Master of Educational Administration from the University of New South Wales. He is currently undertaking a Master of Law (Family Law) through the College of Law, Sydney.
